Personalize Your PIN
Idahy's Visa Credit & Debit cards have a feature that
allows you to choose your own personal identification number (PIN).
To select your own PIN for your Idahy Credit Card, call the toll
free number at 1-866-297-3408 and follow the directions. You will
need your current PIN and credit card handy in order to change to
a new PIN.
To select your own PIN for your Idahy Debit Card, you have two options:
- Contact Idahy's
Boise office to assist you. After verification of your identity
is completed, your PIN can be changed immediately.
- Call 1-888-467-7001 and follow the same
procedure as with the credit card. You will need your card
and current PIN to change to a new PIN.

Verified by VISA
Idahy
is always pursuing ways to help members protect their accounts from fraud.
The newest fraud prevention program for VISA cards is called Verified by
Visa. If you have an Idahy VISA Credit or Debit Card, you will be required
to enroll in the Verified by Visa program prior to completing an online
purchase using your Idahy VISA card. The program assists you in creating a
password that protects you when you buy online. With Verified by Visa you
get added safety, and the reassurance that only you can use your Visa Card
online. Once Verified by Visa is activated, your VISA card will be
recognized when you purchase at participating online stores. The Verified
by Visa symbol will be displayed by participating online stores. You will
be prompted to enter your password online, your identity will be verified,
and the transaction completed. In online stores that are not yet participating,
your Visa Card will continue to work as usual. Registering your card takes
just a few minutes. If you have more than one Visa card you'll need to register
each card separately.
Once
registered, your Verified by Visa password will only be
required if you make purchases online. NEVER give your password
to someone over the telephone — it is only valid for online
purchases. View

The credit and debit cards have different registration

Security Measures Taken For Idahy
Visa Card Holders
If you receive your new Idahy Visa debit or credit card you will now have to
call in verification to activate your card. On the front of your card you will
see a sticker with an (800) number that you will need to call to activate your
card that verifies the card was sent to you. Enter the information from the
voice activated dialog using your telephone touch-tone key pad. After you have
completed the short security process your card will be ready to use.
In an attempt to cut down on fraud losses, many merchants now require all purchases
be sent to the same address as the credit card billing address. Therefore,
it is even more important now for you to update your address for your accounts
at Idahy. Keeping your address current on all of your debit and credit card
accounts will help prevent a delay or denial of future purchase using your
debit or credit cards.

Identity Theft occurs when someone steals your personal information--your
credit union account information or social security number. It could
take months or even years to learn about, and then repair, the damage.

It is beneficial to check your credit profile
periodically. If you have had Identity Theft occur to you, call
