FAQ: BillPay and BillPay+

Q: When using BillPay to pay bills, how long does it take from submitting the request, to the payment being applied?
A: This depends on whether the bill is being paid electronically or by check. On the payee screen, each payee has a footnote showing whether it is electronic or by check. When the payment is made, it will also show an approximate date the payment will be received.

Q: Is it possible to add a second Idahy checking account (or Medical Savings Account) as a paying account on BillPay?
A: Yes, however, you must be enrolled in BillPay+ to access this feature. When this feature is activated, there will be a drop down arrow under the "pay from" section. From there, you can choose which account you would like to pay the bill from.
Note: To activate this feature, select "Options" from the top menu, then "Pay from Accounts," click on the link that says "Add Account". The account information is usbmitted to our BillPay Specialist to verify the account. Once the account is approved, you will receive an email confirming the feature is now available to use.

Q: How do I upgrade from BillPay to BillPay+?
A: Contact any Idahy representative to make your request. They will notify our BillPay Specialist to make the change for you.

Q: Can a person be locked out of their BillPay account?
A: There is not a separate login for BillPay, once you are logged in to idahy@home, you simply click BillPay login to access your BillPay account.

Q: If a member transfers money from one account to an account at another financial institution, does that automatically sign them up for BillPay+?
A: This options is not available in BillPay - only in BillPay+. Therefore, you must already be enrolled in BillPay+ to use this feature.

Q: When will I see the $2.00/month charge to my account for BillPay+?
A: The same day of the month that you initially enrolled in BillPay+. If you enrolled on the 15th of the month, you will see the charge on the 15th of each month. If you enrolled, on the 3rd, you'll see the charge on the 3rd of each month.

Q: What is the difference between BillPay and BillPay+?
A: BillPay is a basic service, while BillPay+ offers more options (see below):
