Idahy History
Credit unions are financial
cooperatives chartered and maintained to provide mutual benefit
to its member/shareholders. Established to provide consumers with
a choice, credit unions fulfill the financial needs of millions
of consumers worldwide.
Federally chartered in 1952
by seven employees from the Idaho Department of Highways, Idahy
has grown from an original asset size of $35.00 to over $114 million
in the past 50+ years. Idahy now serves over 14,000 members that
are either employees or their family members from many different
employer groups throughout Idaho and 11 Boise neighborhoods. Click

Statement
Idahy Federal Credit Union is a member-owned,
democratically-operated cooperative offering personalized financial
services as an alternative to the for-profit financial sector. Directed
by volunteers and staffed by professionals, Idahy is dedicated to
fairness, safety and the emphasis of our long-term commitment to
quality service, consumer education and the financial well-being
of our members and their families.
