Idahy History

Credit unions are financial cooperatives chartered and maintained to provide mutual benefit to its member/shareholders. Established to provide consumers with a choice, credit unions fulfill the financial needs of millions of consumers worldwide.

Federally chartered in 1952 by seven employees from the Idaho Department of Highways, Idahy has grown from an original asset size of $35.00 to over $114 million in the past 50+ years. Idahy now serves over 14,000 members that are either employees or their family members from many different employer groups throughout Idaho and 11 Boise neighborhoods.
